About the Nebraska Skills USA State Leadership & Skills
Championships (SLSC)
The Nebraska State Leadership and Skills Championships (SLSC) will take place April 9–11, 2025, in Grand Island, Nebraska, showcasing the talents of hundreds of the state’s top career and technical education students. These competitors are the future technicians, estimators, refinishers, welders, and skilled professionals who will power Nebraska’s workforce for years to
come.
Auto Body Division Competitions
Students in the Collision Repair pathway will compete in three industry-aligned events:
Automotive Refinish Technology
Collision Repair Technology
Collision Damage Appraisal
Each contest replicates real shop expectations—evaluating accuracy, safety, critical thinking, communication, and professionalism. These events not only measure skill, but also prepare students for the high standards of today’s collision repair industry.
A Message to Our Sponsors
Your support directly impacts the students competing in the Nebraska SkillsUSA Collision Repair events. The Nebraska Auto Body Association (NABA) and volunteers are collecting sponsorships not on behalf of SkillsUSA, but specifically to benefit the Nebraska collision repair students who participate in these competitions.
Sponsorships help provide the tools, materials, swag, awards, and hands-on learning experiences that make Skills Nebraska a transformative opportunity for these students. Your contribution strengthens our industry’s talent pipeline and empowers students to develop their skills, confidence, and career pathways.
Thank you for investing in the future of Nebraska’s collision repair workforce and for supporting the students who proudly represent our industry at SkillsUSA Nebraska.
If you are interested in serving as a judge on April 10th, please reach out—our team will follow up with details.
NABA is a proud supporter of SkillsUSA Nebraska.
